This Polaroid series,marks Mark van den Heuvel's first encounter with analogue photography. Each image was made with a Polaroid 600SE, a medium-format instant camera celebrated for its distinctive analogue depth. Shot on expired Polaroid stock — FB-3000B and FP-100C — every print carries an unrepeatable quality shaped by time and chemical chance. The unpredictable colour shifts and softened emulsions of expired instant film give the work an elusive, almost memory-like presence.
